The Ante Medić Octet is an energetic, out-of-the-box experience created by a band that aims to push the boundaries of contemporary jazz.

This octet is a forward thinking collective that stretches the creative confines and avoids the comfort zone, aiming for uncharted musical territories. Their sound and presence fuse the electric energy of a power trio with the intricate harmonies of a horn quintet. Some of the group’s wide array of influences include artists like Maria Schneider, Frank Zappa, Jimi Hendrix and Aphex Twin.

After releasing two singles (ZenneZ Records) and competing at the finals of the Dutch Jazz Competition and the Keep An Eye Jazz Award, the Ante Medić Octet is preparing the release of their debut album.
